Advertising disclosure

LoanCalc Lab is published by Rodway Labs. The calculators are free to use. To help pay for the site, some pages may show third-party adverts through Google AdSense. Those adverts are not credit offers from us, and they are not a recommendation.

How the site is funded

• The only income is display advertising served by Google AdSense.
• There are no affiliate links on the site.
• We receive no commission, kickback or referral fee from any lender, broker or comparison site.
• There are no lead-generation forms. We do not collect your loan details and never pass them to a lender or broker. Calculator inputs stay in your browser.

When adverts load

Advertising cookies and the AdSense script load only after you choose Consent in the consent window, or switch Advertising on under Manage options. If you choose Do not consent, leave Advertising off, or have not chosen yet, the advertising script is not loaded and adverts are not requested. The choice is stored in local storage on that browser, and you can change it with Privacy preferences in the footer. Calculators stay usable either way. Details of the categories sit in the cookie policy.

We do not put an advertising script in the page before that choice. Preview and non-apex hosts do not run the live advertising script at all.

Where adverts can appear

When advertising is allowed, placements are labelled and sit after a calculator explainer or at the end of an article. They are not in the header, not in the navigation, and not dropped on top of the inputs or the result. Legal and policy pages, including this one, do not carry an advert slot. A thin glossary stub is not used as an advertising page.

Google and its partners choose the individual creatives. Rodway Labs does not design those adverts, does not check each one before it appears, and does not accept a fee to change a calculator formula so that an advert looks more attractive. An advert for a lender is still that lender’s advert. It is not a quote calculated by LoanCalc Lab.

What advertising does not change

• The monthly formulae and the assumptions printed beside a result.
• Whether a fee is included. That still depends on what you enter.
• The editorial line that we are not a lender, broker, or adviser.
• Your ability to use every calculator after rejecting advertising cookies.

You can opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com. Our publisher relationship with Google is declared in the site’s ads.txt file. That file identifies the account. It does not mean Google endorses the calculators.

Seeing a loan advert next to a calculator can feel like the figure on the page belongs to that advert. It does not. The result uses only the inputs and the formula on the tool. Close the advert, or leave advertising off so it never loads, and the monthly payment stays the same. If an advertiser’s page disagrees with our illustration, their contract is the one that would apply to their product, and ours remains a teaching sum.

Affiliate links are separate

Display advertising is not an affiliate programme. There are no affiliate links on this site today. If a commission link is added later, it will be labelled and described in the affiliate disclosure, and it still will not change the maths. Questions: hello@loancalclab.net.
