Rodway Labs

tools to help you calculate life

LoanCalc Lab is one product under the Rodway Labs umbrella. The public name on this website stays LoanCalc Lab. Rodway Labs is the publisher. The tagline, “tools to help you calculate life”, is the only slogan we use: small tools, with the assumptions left visible, rather than a brand campaign.

What this site is for

LoanCalc Lab covers personal loans and debt payoff. That means monthly payments, amortisation, consolidation break-even, snowball versus avalanche, refinance break-even, fee-adjusted cost, and extra payments. The tone is calm UK English. Pages are written so a reader can follow a labelled EXAMPLE without being sold a product.

It is not a property remortgage site. Home-loan switching, mortgage rates, and property calculators sit outside LoanCalc Lab, even if another Rodway Labs tool covers them. Do not treat a personal-loan result here as a mortgage illustration.

How the name should be used

Branding on the site is deliberately light. The header carries LoanCalc Lab. The footer carries a short Rodway Labs credit and this page. We do not put a personal name, a photograph, a job title, or an employer on site-facing pages. Please do not add one if you quote us.

You may refer to “LoanCalc Lab, a Rodway Labs site” with a link. Please do not redraw the logo, pair it with a lender’s branding, or suggest that Rodway Labshas approved, arranged, or priced a loan. We are not a lender or a credit broker, and we do not claim FCA authorisation.

There are no live affiliate offers. Advertising, if you accept it in the privacy window, is ordinary AdSense and does not change the name of the site or the formulae. The about page sets out the editorial purpose in more detail.

What we keep off the brand

The footer credit is enough for most readers. This page is the longer explanation if you arrived looking for who publishes the calculators. We do not list staff, we do not show a portrait, and we do not describe anyone’s day job. Trust on LoanCalc Lab is meant to come from labelled assumptions and a visible disclaimer, not from a personal story.

If you mention the tools elsewhere, “illustrative personal-loan calculators” is a fair description. “Loan broker”, “rate comparison”, and “approved by a lender” are not. The same boundary applies if you reuse a screenshot: keep the disclaimer visible, and do not crop it so a result looks like a guaranteed payment.
